Only a question: do these contests start on every Sunday?

yes these are weekly contests running from Sunday noon UTC to the next Sunday noon UTC. We use the SteemSQL database maintained by @arcange to run queries to capture all the comments you make during that time frame. If you want to participate, join the C² Discord and sign up for server contests in the #server-contests-signup. That is all you have to do for the Comments contest (well, besides actually commenting on posts upvoted/resteemed by @c-squared) :) The Engagement contest also requires signing up for the League of Curation and Engagement at @abh12345's blog :)
