Most of us would think that food photography is as simple as a "one click" of a button, the shutter open at a glimpse of a second, and then post the photo in a social media platform.

That isn't usually the case since most of the time is spent figuring out the best lighting, style, and composition that would do best to the subject.

Finding the suitable light is crucial to a photographer's decision since it has a tendency to make or break the outcome of the photo.

Aside from that, the style of the food will also play an important role to how the subject will be perceived by the viewer, adding more elements that make-up the subject will add a stronger impact to the outcome of the image.

Take note, it doesn't have to be a food from a fine-dine restaurant, in fact, it could be your own home cooking! Create some interesting art out of it, or arrange it in a kind of way that it will look more appetizing to the viewers.
