He would tell the king he will open the one with the “banished forever” envelope, so clearly the unopened one will “have to be” the “get married” envelope. And the king will have to agree or else reveal that he had cheated.

If Aladdin opened his envelope, he must abide by what is written on it.
Instead, Aladdin ripped up his envelope and asked to see what was in the remaining envelope. Therefore it would look as if his was the get married one or else the king would have to admit he cheated.

How did the eye drops tip work out for you?
The eye drops worked pretty good that way! She still didn't like the wet feeling of the drop and I had to pry her eye open to get it in, but she tolerated it. Lol. Thank you again for the tip! 😊
