---- Tic Tac Toe Pie - Bulk Buy, Save Time Effort and Money----

Ah and the good food stuffs continues :) This is a "Tic Tac Toe Pie" that was part of a big cook up of pies we did a couple of months ago. We did a run of about 10 pies and froze them for some good eating later. the pies are a customized take on Sheppards Pie that have been developed over years of perfection, lolz.

These pies have beef mince, onion, garlic, carrots, corn kernels, peas, egg and a potato layer on top. I do like to have some fun and get creative with my cooking, often my experimentation becomes the staples of the households diet. in this instance we were running out of the pastry i made an executive decision to do the Tic Tac Toe Pie design and stretch the materials we had to avoid a pit stop at the local super market to restock... worked out well i think ;)

This is all part of the bulk buy and cook to save time, effort and money routine we have established over about a decade of trial and error. I didn't make any calculations on costs for this set of pies but the average seems to be around $1-$2 for these kinds of meals, will make sure i get the digits next time for a more accurate estimate.
