Homemade Cheese and Pepper Rolls
Ingredients:
- 250 g puff pastry;
- 50–70 g cream cheese;
- 1 jalapeno pepper;
- 150–200 g of Gouda cheese;
- 1 egg.
Cooking
Roll out a dough sheet in a square with a side of 25 cm.
Brush it with cream cheese, leaving about 2-3 cm on one side intact.
Spread the jalapeno, ground from and diced, and grated cheese on top.
Smear the side without the filling with water and roll the dough into a roll, starting from the opposite side.
The resulting sausage slightly squeeze to seal the workpiece.
Cut the roll into equal pieces about 1 cm thick, brush with a beaten egg and bake at a temperature of 180–200 ° C for about 20 minutes.
