Cover a Steemian - Home Tonight (@zipporah) - Cover Song.
Hello Steemit!
Today I'm sneaking in one song for the #coverasteemian initiative :D ! I've been wanting to do this song by @zipporah for some time but the vocal range of this particular one is reaaally hard to get , so after a while I just decided to try and adapt it to my more limited vocal range :P . This is a very beautiful song and it's melody and lyrics resonated with me lately , that feeling of ''looking for a home'' , this is definitely my type of song :) . I hope I do it some justice .

It's really amazing to hear how different & equally beautiful a song can be when someone else re-interprets a song.
It's like this gorgeous song of Zippy's just became your gorgeous song with your Pechi flavour.
It proves that songs are born through us from the collective unconscious pool, but live a life of their own after they are birthed.
So, so, so, SO true! As I said in my comment to Pechi – He's allowed me to hear my own music in a way that I've never before been able to. Such a wonderful surprise! <3
Well, it’s testament to great songwriting. If a song can be performed 100 different ways by 100 different artists in 100 different styles and still translate to the listener, then it is a great song.

Thank you so much @nathankaye mate , I hold the same belief when it comes to music , that it just lives in the universe as some sort of bigger being .. and we just channel certain parts of it , we try to take a picture as I like to say it! You are one unique musician and I will put myself the challenge into channeling one of your songs , I have to figure out a way to condense multiple instruments into one guitar.. I'm a mono-instrumentalist hahaha! playing and singing takes my whole concentration :) ! Cheers bro!
Thanks mate. And yes, concentration is quite a lot just singing and playing one instrument for sure. At least I vaguely remember those days. Hehe. You get used to anything if you do it enough times.
That reminds me. I need to add some more song options in the cover a steemian pool.

My dearest @Pechichemena – I sincerely haven't the words to convey just how deeply touched I am by this. I'm honored – beyond, really. You've done such a beautiful job making it your own, while retaining the sentiments conveyed by the original.
I've never heard one of my songs covered before – feels like quite a wonderful milestone. It also helps me hear my own music with new ears – to take it in from a removed perspective and understand it even more deeply. I had no idea such a thing was even possible!
My heart will forever hold this in a place of pure gratitude – the sweetness of your gesture – the emotion in your voice – the lovely surprise of hearing my words spilling so beautifully from another's lips.

Dear Zippy , I can only say i tried my best to reflect the wonderful person you are through a little tribute to your music , I am really happy you feel gratitude but this is just me returning the favor of having been touched by this song before . When an artist tickles your soul , I kind of feel in a little debt to let them know how grateful I am for that , this is exactly that.

More words... Thank you so much for the kind and loving words :) . I also loved you rendition of ''Lie to Me'' this week , it was a beautiful moment , I'm so happy to see this little displays of love from one musician to another , makes me feel good about creating this initiative :D . I try to get in the moment when I perform and forget about the notes and focus on the feel , not an easy thing to do.. I guess it just comes little by little with experience and connection , that's where music lives in my opinion. The guitar holding was just because I needed to fit into picture hahaha but at the same time I try to play proper , I had a hand injury because of bad technique and had to stop play for months and I got very depressed.. after that I try not to strain my hands when I play .. so.. I pay very close attention to technique . It keeps you from being injured.. no more rock star poses for me! hahaha
