Having taken a few 'Social Work' classes in college, I knew rather quickly that some of the most 'powerful' individuals are ones who work in these programs.
The teacher openly admitted that they have the ability to take a child from the parents IF THEY HAVE ANY suspicion of child abuse.
I have a friend who is a mother of two being 'monitored' cuz her son (who is 2) touch a hot stove and got a small burn. Now shes afraid that if they find a bruise on him that they'll just take him away.
This is just one of many examples of how for the sake of 'protection' and security, we give up so much freedom. Liked the article.
Wow, talking about having the power to take children way... amazing :/ That's sickening that a children who get injured are now a reason for parents to be monitored by the state under threat and terror of having their children kidnapped. Sick world...
