The Crack History of the Universe Book 1 Ch.19 The Triassic Revival of Civilization
After the Permian Mass Extinction concluded precious few organisms survived. Miraculously though life marched on and grew back to its prime in only a few million years. This period of reconstruction and rising from the ashes of the Permian cataclysms would be dubbed as the Triassic Period one period of a new era for the species of the Earth: The Mesozoic Era.
Superhuman Activity?!
In the year 250’000’000 B.C.E. at the beginning of the Mesozoic Marine Revolution an evolutionary milestone where harder shells were developed by certain organisms to prevent them from being cracked easily by would be predators:
Within this time frame a group of time travelers from the future came to further a plan of theirs for world domination. This group was the Technodrome Foot Clan who were under the Command of their Lieutenant Slash a mutant turtle who hailed from the land of Palmadise in Dimension X who was recruited by his superior Krang of the Kra’ang species an offshoot of the Utroms who were enslaved by a Hive Mind and stripped of their personality and independent thought by Kra’ang Prime who Krang was opposed to.
Slash was recruited as a guest Lieutenant by Krang to set up a base for Krang’s Robot Foot Ninjas in the distant past and to erect a Civilization and base for Krang’s forces thus altering History to Krang’s machinations and visions of world domination. Aiding Slash was an animated construct of living cement who was animated from a Billboard by the scientist Derrik Stockman who animated the mascot for the future cement mix production company: Liquid Steel Inc. and its mascot was: Mr. Quick Fix a living being of cement that as Derrik had animated into reality with the space crystal called the Eye of Sarnath.
Slash took the job because of the rumored Giant Palm Trees he had heard existed in the Earth’s distant past and he was as Slash himself described: “a sucker for the Tropics” and he thought that killing Dinosaurs and conquering a Planet full of them would be ‘fun.’
In practice Slash would not focus on construction beyond a Head of one of Krangs subordinates: Sawaki Oroku depicting his helm as his claim as The Shredder a legendary founder of the Foot Clan whose mantle he took up for the symbolism of the warrior that it carried. Slash in the past however focused mostly on hunting whatever game and monsters he could find with his division of Robotic Foot Soldiers under his command.
However, that project would not last as the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles were thrust back into the past from the future and together they stopped the forces of Slash and the Foot Clan destroying they’re plans in that era of time before being whisked away to another moment in time due to their bodies being stuck in a time warp created by Sawaki Oroku using the technology from Dimension X.
Speculation on Sawaki Oroku’s Effects on this Moment in Time
In the corrected timeline, we know the Technodrome Foot Clan were stopped and events proceeded as normal with Ichthyosaurs evolving by the year 245’000’000 B.C.E. and the Yithians and the Serpent People awakening from their hibernation and returning to Earth from Heaven respectively to begin a conflict that would redraw the borders for the Earth based on the fighting spirit and military might of the two species. The Silurians of course would remain in suspended animation due to their overestimation of how long the Permian Mass Extinction event would last.
Had Sawaki Oroku’s Foot Clan remained in that period of time then this war would have been greatly changed with the Foot Clan already having a decent foothold and encampment base on the Earth and a good portion of its lands the Earth would have developed differently as the Foot Clan would have affected evolution to try to make future humanity dependent on them thus stopping the species need to evolve and simply being dependent on the Foot Clan and becoming domesticated by the Foot Clan’s robotic Ninjas from another timeline in a paradoxical alternate reality.
The Yithians and the Serpent people would have to contend with technology from the future and the future technology of Dimension X in this alternate war for the Earth. It’s unlikely that the Yithians or the Serpent People would have been completely made extinct by the Foot Clan, but for a matter of fact evolution and History would be forever veered off course by the presence of a third power that would have interfered with evolution to prevent the natural evolution and rise of species like the later Dinosaurs and humanity itself far into the future...
The Timeline Proper
The war between the Yithians and the Serpent People reached a standstill when there was no more free land left to conquer and thus the war reached a standstill and a ‘cold peace’ resulted from the aftermath of the war.
Nevertheless, life continued to evolve with the earliest Pokémon the Prehistoric Pokémon arising now. Genesects, Kabutops, and of course Pangeans were used by these two dominant powers as pets, food, and slaves depending on the region of the lands these two-species held that you found yourself in.
Evolution meanwhile would continue to march on in new ways as Cynodonts and Rhynchosaurs diversify amongst their species by the year 240’000’000 B.C.E. And then by 225’000’000 B.C.E. the Dinosaurs began to arise on the Planet Earth.
The Dawn of The Dinosaurs
By the year 225’000’000 B.C.E. the earliest Dinosaurs began to arise and new marine species also emerged in the form of the Teleost Class of marine organisms. The early Dinosaurs though were what the Yithians took the most vested interest in for their sheer power and potential they possessed.
Increasingly the Dinosaurs began to work with the Yithians as allies from the Dinosaurs point of view, from the Yithian’s however they were little more than vassals and tools to wipe out their hated rivals for the domination and hegemony of Earth the Serpent People who were boldly trying to forge an Empire of their own after years of being a secret society and trying to make a great societal transformation.
However, introducing these radical reforms to their society made for unnecessary civil strife among the Serpent People which led to internal conflicts eating them from the inside culturally and socially. Additionally, with the Yithians experimenting in new tactics and stratagems involving the powers and abilities of the early Dinosaurs it made for the Serpent People’s near extinction.
For one the Dinosaurs had evolved to resist the Serpent People’s viral conversion poisons and fluids from interactions with inert and weaker forms of the virus from leftover fluids with weakened viral strains that were outside of their bodies.
By chance these early Dinosaurs who ingested this substance and fought off the weakened disease and survive instead of die amid an improper conversion; subsequently successfully reproduced with others in their species and grew to having Serpent Conversion Resistance as a fundamental part of their biology and their immune system.
Thus, the Serpent People were annihilated and a new world order was going to be forged in the ashes of the old Serpent People’s society as the few Serpent People that lived retreated into the Shadows!
