I thought I had escaped
My tracts, I thought I cleared
But again, you are here.

Everywhere I go, I see you
I looked the mirror, I see you
In the bathroom, I see you

I tried to wash you away,
but I came out with you.
I bowed my head to pray,
but right there with my eyes closed,
and head bowed,
your image filled my heart.

Can I ever run from you?
Can I exist without you?
Am I an extension of you?
My shadow, is that what you are?
