DTube: Streaming Videos on the Blockchain
This post by @twotoedsloth introduces the platform @dtube, which is a platform that aims to become everyone's alternative to YouTube through enabling users to upload or watch videos on IPFS and reply, comment, or share about it on unchanging STEEM blockchain while earning cryptocurrency. All of the data on D.Tube is open to the public, and can be used as open source for analysis by anyone on the Internet.

Andy Warhol’s Piece Sold for 850 BTC through Maecenas, First Art Auction on Blockchain
This article by @mintvilla documents the first ever blockchain auction that was held online by Maecenas, which is a blockchain based art auction platform in UK. The original piece of Andy Warhol’s Small Electric Chairs was on the market and sold for 850 Bitcoin ( about 5,184,995.75 in USD as of June 28, 2018). The participants own “fractional ownership” of the painting with their BTC, ETH, and other cryptocurrency.

Codex Celebrates Launch of Codex Viewer Beta with Giveaway and Quests
