First and foremost, policewoman Lindsay Boxer and her three friends are investigating several crimes. A politician's son has apparently been kidnapped, but many people are killed in some devastating arson attacks, the beautiful prostitute Junie Moon, tells of a murder she committed, but shortly afterwards she denies the whole thing.

Apparently these crimes have nothing to do with each other, but Lindsay Boxer suspects a common background. Meticulous and obsessed down to the last detail, Lindsay Boxer and her friends at Women's Murder Club try to explain the background.

Based on this book series, an American television series with the same title The Women's Murder Club was created. Some of his crime series about police psychologist Alex Cross have also been filmed. None other than Morgan Freemann played the leading actor Alex Cross.
