It feels kind of obnoxious. I find it jingoistic to fly flags...unless its something fun like a pirate flag. I don't need to fly a flag to love my country or state but I am not down with this competition of what country is the best. "patriotism" is one step removed from nationalism and when it comes to nationalism, I am with Einstein : "Nationalism is an infantile disease. It is the measles of mankind"
