What is the best place to send our Bitcoin balances before Aug 1st? Mine are all in Coinbase. Im worried. Would they be safer on Bittrex? I have a feeling they will be safe on Coinbase.. but some people are saying they won't.
You need to get your coins out of Coinbase right away. They announced that if bitcoin splits, they won't let you have coins for the other chain.
Let's say you have 10 bitcoins, and bitcoin splits into 2 chains. You will have 10 bitcoins on each chain for a total of 20. However, if you have them in Coinbase, you'll only get the 10, and they'll keep the other 10.
There will not be a split on 99 %.
How mining pools are signaling is not necessarily where the hashpower is going to go Aug 1.
50% of mining pools STILL signal Bitcoin Unlimited...what does that tell you?

It hit me. Do we need to upgrade our app wallets before Aug 1 before we return our BTC from Cold storage ?
My paper wallet wont be able to send itself to Bittrex or Exodus. You need a btc app wallet like Mycellium to send it
I'm my opinion, lots are going to go cash and get back in after Aug... damn you coinbase 😂
