Litecoin Plus; how it survived abandonment.

Reviving a dead coin isn’t exactly easy. It takes a lot of connecting and communicating with people you may have never met, to ask them for help with something they may have abandoned completely. The crypto world likes to surprise people regularly, so when the man known as Spidersbox decided he wanted to get a blockexplorer up for Litecoin Plus several months ago, he sort of just didn’t stop.

“I was asked If I could put up a block explorer for the coin. After looking around, I discovered that there were no peers to connect to.
The network was dead - not good for a PoS only (at the time) coin.
This was a new challenge for me, to basically bring a coin back from the dead.
There were only a few people in the bitcointalk thread, only one exchange - NovaExchange.
It took several days waiting for responses back on bitcointalk, but I finally was able to connect a few wallets together and get the blockchain.
PoW was added to Litecoin Plus to help expand the network, and get people/miners interested in LCP again. Then we were able to get listed on Cryptopia, and the community started growing.
Soon we had people to work on a new web site, get new graphics, and help with planning our next steps.”

He has great confidence in the growing community as the network expands daily. You can see the chart on Cryptopia that it has very healthy doses of buy-in since it’s reawakening. The most recent volume that was reflect around April 24 is stabilizing with a higher trend than previously. We’ll have to wait and see what happens, with an attitude that can’t fail, I see Litecoin Plus flourishing for years to come.

Right now their plan is to establish themselves in more exchanges for more availability and adaptability.

“One step at a time. working on more exchanges - hopefully traders will be able to use LCP to transfer between exchanges - the fees are much lower - and 30 second block time is 20 times faster than bitcoin - why wouldn't you want to use it?"

Proof of Stake coins I personally feel are making a very strong come back at this time, a lot tweaking to old coins and adjustments to new coins and their algorithms are proving that staking coins can be as profitable as mining, without saturating the network and enabling the early birds to dump too hard. The multi-algorithm appearance here is becoming a regular site when you look under the hoods of all your new favorite coins. It was a wise change for Litecoin Plus to take on, if all continues to go well for these new multi-algorithms.
