Be careful with cryptocurrency exchange platforms ads!

in #crypto6 years ago

Recently I've come accross multiple ads on facebook and even google with fake websites of exchanges. There is an easy way of knowing that the website you are on is a scam:

Make sure to check the URL
Often, the letters will look quite the same as the real website with minors differences that make all the difference. The most recent one I found was an ad on google when I researched Bittrex. It was written "Bîttrex.com" with the same descriptions as the real website. The î is what made all the difference. Once you enter to this website and connect to it, you will most likely lose all the funds on the exchange.

I suggest you to always enter a crypto website by doing one of those two only:

Always enter directly the URL instead of making a research in google OR
**Go on the right website and make a link it to your "favourite" bar on your internet browser
