The online poker industry is massive business with it far exceeding expectations. So, when you think about the fact that we are talking about crazy numbers when it comes to the money that is swirling around it does then become very clear as to why there should be some kind of marriage between the blockchain and poker. Step forward Cryptonia as a potential solution, but then does the platform work to the kind of level that you should rightfully expect?

Security is a Huge Issue

Considering you are going to be dealing with money, at least in some form, and your personal details are going to be held online, you can understand why people are concerned about the security side of things. This has become even more important in the last few years thanks to the way in which there have been numerous times where security has been breached leading to the leaking of personal information, or even banking details.

Poker websites have always been seen as being a primary target for hackers, but here’s a major positive of using blockchain technology; it is significantly more secure and safer than other options out there.

Well, even though there is nothing that can guarantee success, you only have to look at the popularity of other poker related websites and apps to feel that Cryptonia is, at least, going to be on a pretty stable road to success.

All they have to do is stress the fairness and security side of things and people should be willing to at least give it a shot. The only way in which it could really fail is if the playing side is then able to effectively let them down due to not coming up to the standards you would expect. That scenario is particularly difficult to imagine.

If you were lucky enough to be part of the ICO then there is a very good chance that you will be onto a winner with that investment, but if you have missed out then all is not going to be lost. Of course, you will have to watch for the tokens hitting the public markets but the potential future movement of the coin is obviously going to be in an upwards trajectory. So, if you are able to purchase tokens on an exchange, then do so immediately because while the platform may be about gambling, this could also prove to be a sound investment.
