ICOBox Head of International PR Dima Zaitsev shares his thoughts on Abra’s service diversification

Abra, a cryptocurrency wallet and exchange app, is planning to allow global users to invest in commodities, stocks and ETFs via the app. The exchange is starting with the most popular U.S. stocks before expanding to include more global assets in the future.

The app has users in over 150 countries and hopes to level the playing field for investors across the globe. Through the app, Abra claims it will breakdown both geographic and financial investment barriers for billions of people.

The new investment opportunities operate using the “crypto collateralized contract model,” allowing investors to gain exposure to any asset by using cryptocurrency to make the investment. Abra technically takes on the risk that the trade goes poorly, as the investor is not directly using their own capital to buy, but mitigates this by hedging away the company’s risk in the market as soon as the user creates the investment.

Dima Zaitsev, ICOBox Head of International PR, is excited about the new platform, “we’re seeing worlds collide. Crypto and traditional finance. Not only has crypto created a decentralized global network for digital tokens, but it’s allowing unprecedented access to traditional ones as well.”11 2 19.png
