Newdex - Trading your tokens | Tutorial
With the recent growing population at EOS discussions it might be necessary to explain in a easy way how to trade your EOS tokens online. The are two well known places, Newdex and Dexeos. I wanted to explain how to use first one. First of all, If you are familiar with Bitshares you'll find Newdex quite similar. The process is easy actually if you have Scatter.
On Newdex's main page press sign in, have your scatter wallet already open in you computer, the site will show you a screen with the options for accessing it.
Press Sign in via Scatter and this will inmediately call your wallet, press login at the scatter window that will pop up.
Now you are logged in with your EOS account. You will see your name up and right of the main screen.
After that, you can scroll down the main screen and see the many tokens available for trading, I'll pick ANX since it had a recent movement on this exchange.
The ANX is a security type of token from the ANOX investment project. A few days ago it started being sold on Newdex and Dexeos. So here is the page you'll see once you press ANX/EOS.
Main chart at the center, Sale and buy orders to the left, place orders' frames and the bottom center part as well as transaction history. As in many exchanges, you have to:
- select a price for the token.
- set the amount you'll sell, look that the amount of tokens in your wallet will display above.
- You'll see a bar which indicates proportion of tokens selected expressed in percentages.
- Press Buy/sell and the order should appear along with the rest to you left. You will distinguish your order because it'll be pointed out by a triangle.
- Also at the very bottom you'll see your order and the word revoke, in case you want to cancel it.
