Introducing StellarX - marketplace for crypto, bonds, fiat, etc.

This is from the makers of Kickstarter, OKCupid, and Headspace. They've got a lot of app experience, but not crypto. I hope they pull this off!

The basic idea here is that this is a fee-less exchange that allows the trade of just about any sort of financial asset, whether fiat, crypto, commodities, bonds, etc. They not only don't charge you a fee for trading, but if you're a market maker they even pay you a little.

It remains to be seen if this will work. I just requested an invite to the beta release and will test and report back.

I just added it to Steemhunt, so if you think it's cool, I'd appreciate your upvote on the app there. That will also help more people become aware of it. Exchanges only work for anyone when enough people know about them and use them! (If you have a Steemit account, you can log into Steemhunt through SteemConnect without needing to create an account.)

Let's see if we can finally get to a place where all the altcoins don't have to rise and fall with BTC, because they can be traded without having to pass through the few trading pairs that dominate now (with BTC being the dominate one by far).
