Malta on Track to be a Blockchain Hub

in #crypto6 years ago

If you have not yet heard, the world's largest crytocurrency exchange, Binance is moving it's headquarters to Malta. One of the major reasons for this move comes from the fact that Malta offers more "crypto-friendly" regulations.

What does this mean for Malta? This means that the tiny European country has now placed itself on the map of those looking to develop and grow their blockchain initiatives. Malta will now become a blockchain hub that attracts millions of talented people from around the world.

I read that Malta is set to hold it's first blockchain summit in November 2018. The numbers expected for this summit are 4000 delegates, 00 speakers and 150 sponsors and exhibitors.

In the meantime, let's keep a close eye on Malta. I expect their economy to go off the roof in the no distant future.
