Rain Token: The Token For Shoppers

Rain Token is just not like any other token out there. It is special, the kind that is bound to make shopping a truly wonderful experience; this token will change your shopping behavior as a consumer. Why, because, first and foremost, Rain Token is the only token you’ll need to get into the RainCheck platform, a platform that offers a whole new world for brands, retailers and shoppers alike. Here, shoppers can conveniently look into as many online stores as they can handle, “raincheck” the items they want, and receive alerts when they’re out shopping, so they’ll be able to visit the physical store where their rainchecked items are found.

There are basically 10 modules running independently, or otherwise, on the RainCheck platform. There’s the Product Feed module, for one, that takes care of the data concerning products (and this may include basic information about the product, stock levels from the likes of Magento, Shopify, and other eCommerce platforms). There’s also a module dedicated to Inventory Feeds, which essentially contains in-store inventory. Then, of course, there’s the O2O Wishlist module that allows a product to be “rainchecked”, that is, to be stored as wishlist on the Cloud. Another essential module on the RainCheck platform is the Payments/Wallets module, built as such to handle payment transactions, receipts, cashbacks, and more. Meanwhile the Location Services module, which makes use of Geo-fencing technology, covers shopping centers, shopping precincts, and airports. The Connected POs and Card-Linked Offers module is what gives RainCheck the ability to pinpoint offers even at the SKU level. This module allows the payment data to match with the POS data, a process used to be thought of as “very difficult”. There’s the Push Notifications module, as well, which renders notifications to be self-executable, and a Data Anaytics module that monitors data and stores them in defined data repositories where they can be easily retrieved or displayed on dashboards. Finally, there’s the Loyalty Integration module that allows the digitization of loyalty programs.

Thus, the current RainCheck platform may be graphically presented as follows:

Actually, what RainCheck is doing is it’s capitalizing on the current “shopping behavior” of most people nowadays, wherein they check-in into online stores mostly to find out more about the item but eventually find their way into brick and mortar stores to make an actual purchase. If we only take a quick look at the growth of the e-commerce industry, we may perhaps conclude that most people nowadays do their shopping online. But, we’re in for a huge shock, then, because the truth is, 90% of shoppers still shop offline. True, they do visit online stores, but mostly because they want to “discover” the features of the products they have their eyes on so that they’ll be able to know what to expect when they do their shopping in physical stores nearby.

This “shopping behavior”, while a bit surprising, is definitely something you will want to take advantage of in order to benefit the greater good. This why RainCheck’s platform is all about O2O (online to offline). Actually, RainCheck has already been existing since 2014, and its creation was fueled by the need to measure online product discovery and to connect whatever it is to in-store sales. Several years into it, RainCheck is now in the process of tokenizing the platform in order to capture both online discovery and offline purchases, and at the same time, enable retail brands to link loyalty programs directly to payment cards, and token holders to be able to collate and manage their reward points in one place.

Loyalty programs are sadly not benefiting the consumers as much as they should, are they? A great amount of rewards points are, in fact, not redeemed at all. RainCheck hopes to solve this issue through its Rain Token, no less, which will run seamlessly across the RainCheck platform, digitizing loyalty programs in the process. The result? Well, through Rain Token, retail brands will be able to connect online product discovery with in-store sales, retailers will be able to offer reward programs that consumers will actually use, and shoppers will be able to join any loyalty program and redeem their rewards easily. Meanwhile, Rain token holders may trade their tokens on the exchange platforms where Rain tokens are listed.

With Rain tokens, users are guaranteed of faster transactions and lower conversion rates. Likewise, the token gives users the ability to transfer funds anytime, anywhere, and to monitor their rewards points. All these make Rain tokens worth having.

Another important thing to note, RainCheck has already reaped a number of awards, including the Visa Everywhere Initiative and the Accenture Consumer Tech Award in Singapore in 2017. It’s also in partnership with Amazon Web Services, Stripe, Pay, Google, IBM, XtremePush, Magento, Shopify, and Ingenico, to name a few, and by this alone, you can already see that RainCheck, powered by its very own Rain Tokens, is headed for success.
