First buy BTC on platforms like coinbase, then open an account on bittrex and transfer your funds there. After that, you'll be ready to buy XVG. Good luck! :)
Thank you, I have some btc thru an expensive (and kinda sucky) Canadian company that only has a couple currencies to buy but am looking for a better platform. Will check it out!
I also recommended coinbase but buy ethereum and transfer it to bittrex...then trade for bitcoin to avoid long waits and fees
