While the popularity of Bitcoin surged last year thanks to the escalation in prices there are still many people who have not bought any cryptocurrencies yet. There may be several reasons for this including the fact that quite a few may not even understate what it is all about.

Huawei which is one of the largest manufacturers in the world of smartphones is not going to introduced pre-installed wallets on all its new phones. Not only that it is going to ensure that it is going to roll out an update which will have an app for the bitcoin wallet, aimed at old smartphones.

What this means is huge for Bitcoin because Huawei has sold millions of smartphones in its own name and its brand Honor. Since all those who own these phones will get the wallet means that millions will have the app and many of them may purchase Bitcoins to fill up their Wallets.

In a few days after the wallet is introduced by Huawei Bitcoin will see an increase in demand which could take up the prices upward. This is also bound to have an effect on other cryptocurrencies including Steem.

This move is also significant because China has been ruthless with the crypto market in the country. They have banned all exchanges although people can still own crypto assets.

Since Huawei is providing the wallet to be downloaded from its own appstore there will be easy access to it. The reason being that the Google Playstore is blocked in China alongwith Apples app market iTunes which is restricted in parts.

Since the wallet will be free to download from the Huawei appstore it will receive maximum visibility as Huawei is a very popular brand in China. Those who may be new to crypto will find out more and become interested, and some may go ahead and invest in it.

China has the largest number of people in the world at over 1.3 billion. Exposure to such a large population will be a bit to cryptocurrency which will see further adoption and investment in the days ahead.
