In the previous post I met u with ENDO platform, gave a kind of intro. Now let's dive into technical side of it.

ENDO structure

A bit refresh here: ENDO is a platform, which is able to keep sensitive data safe, manage the interactions between owners and customers of information, suggest the most suitable application for the verification of uploaded data, give owners early unvailable opportunity for monetizing their personal data.

What I really appreciate that's their approach: the team try to use already operated and well-coordinated tech-decisions having clear reputation.Besides, current prevail focus is on testing technologies for vulnerabilities in accordance with ENDO such the aims as:

• Keep data safe and encrypted;
• Provide easy interaction between different applications and jurisdictions;
• Build up a fair hierarchy of delegates;
• Create a single way of verification and plastic decisions for particular organization needs;
• Create strong system of nodes;
• Provide high capacity of the system.

Storages&Blockchain, Protocol, Platform, Applications and API are five layers of ENDO, let's keep a sight on each one.

Storages/Blockchain

The data can be stored either on centralized cloud services, such as Dropbox, Google Drive, Mega, OneDrive, iCloud, Box, NextCloud, SpiderOak or decentralized ones: IPFS, FileCoin, Sia, Storj & Swarm.

The choice of storage fully depends on the owner's desire, his security needs. For reaching the most secure conditions, it'd better to use ENDO node based on IPFS or just use a local/remote server (FTP, SSH ).

The role of blockchain is a cornerstone of the whole realization of ENDO ecosystem. Today some tests are conducted on the base of Graphene Blockchain.

Graphene, an Open Source, mostly C++, blockchain implementation was originally developed as the foundation of Bitshares, a cryptocurrency exchange marketplace.

Another tests based on the fork of the EOS platform as a public ENDO network, and Hyperledger as private one.

ENDO Protocol

ENDO Protocol is a set of rules, algorithms, and business process logic, describing the interaction of subsystems among themselves. The ENDO protocol regulates the overall interaction between network units, allows them to communicate securely and transfer data among themselves.

ENDO Core

ENDO Core is an open source desktop application, being a base for all applications inside the system. It's responsible for encryption and data transmission logic, communicating with the network of blockchain via API.

API

API, literally, is the bridge for ENDO and its applications.

Here are two API groups:

• Connection between ENDO Admin, MyENDO (standard applications for managing integration and user data), and ENDO Core with further sending of open ENDO Blockchain data.

• The communication channel between the ENDO blockchain system and the ENDO Core integration: exchange of user data, check application data, application data exchange, cooperation and communication in the application.

Applications

Applications are numerous technical approaches for particular tasks of certain organization. There are many examples and even already realized apps. Follow my nearest posts to learn more about it.
