RE: Coinbase adds Ethereum Classic

in #crypto2crypto6 years ago (edited)

Damn are they going to be adding litecoin cash or Bitcoin gold next? They're adding alot of fork coins lately.

Sort:

Sorry my friend Ethereum is the actual fork.

Ethereum Classic actually holds the original code.

And bitcoin cash/bcash/bitcash can say they are the original code bc they follow "Satoshi's True Vision"aka an old scaling plan that Satoshi mainly only knew back then.
But you know what I mean. Most of the eth community followed Eth hence why it got the eth name hence why the original coin while the minority became Ethereum Classic

But who forked from who?

Eth supporter can say that Ethereum Classic forked bc they did not want to follow consensus. Ethereum Classic can say they are the original bc they keep mostly everything the same prior to the fork. I think my definition of a fork is when a minority group wants a new coin. I honestly support Ethereum Classic more bc if Ethereum can fork once to reverse $ why won't it do it in the future?

Consensus to cover the ass of rich friends. Not the core values I would want to follow.

+1; the only fork I somewhat respected was Ethereum classic bc their ideals are the best. Bitcoin cash bc while I really dislike them and the leaders suck.. they have a huge community and an totally acceptable but not a good scaling plan

Bcash has the right idea.
