Quick Update & AMAsteemCreated with Sketch.

in #cryptocom5 years ago (edited)

Hey everyone! I've been getting over this hardcore stomach/throat infection for the last ten days. Inching closer to full health; my health has been regenerating so slow it feels like playing Classic Wow xD.

Anyway, I have lots to catch up on and lots of news to share with you all. I haven't done an AMA in a while and figured this would be a good time.

Ask me anything below and I will give out some nice upvotes for meaningful questions.

I will answer the questions on video tomorrow 10/5/19.

Edit* Posted by accident before I was ready so I didn't get to set the beneficiary. 100% of this post rewards going to @steem.dao

Who shot Tupac?

How did you first learn/hear about cryptocurrency?

How did you get your hands on your first portion of cryptocurrency, what was it, and why did you get it?

Cats or dogs?

The first question xD We need to know!

Seriously. WHODUNNIT?!

I’m starting to think the CIA offed him, as his “movement” was getting to BIG.

In your eyes, what is the biggest problem of STEEM atm.? And what do you see as the biggest barrier towards so called "mass adoption"?

Thx for answering and get 100% well soon ;)

EDIT: Got one more: What is the best post you have seen on STEEM in the last time, that was not about STEEM itself?

No question, just want to wish for you to get well soon. Steem needs you :)

Steem is consolidating nicely against btc.

Please tell us your personal position on vested vs liquid steem. What percent do you keep liquid for trading swings, what amount to you publically curate with?

Where do you see Steem ten years from now?

And what would be the key milestones you would be looking forward to on the journey from now to 2029?

(Glad to hear you are regaining full health again)

We all price predictions but where do you think the price of Bitcorrrn 🌽 will be at in 2025? 😎

Hello Dan I'm sorry for the throat infection, I hope you're really recovering well? It's been a real bummer not to have you here with the Friday and Saturday 3speak video. However I do have a question. Now that the Post HF us here now and vote buying is no longer a thing I'll like to ask a question; is it also problematic or wrong if someone writes a very fine quality content and due to low engagement they use about 3 steem to get about 0.7$ upvote from a bot? I get the amount is quite small, but is this Still considered an abuse? Despite the fact that the Post is quality? Should we just totally kill the idea of even a 2 steem vote buy even if it's just to push the content for people to see it a bit? Would like to see an answer to this question thanks a lot Dan.

I side with @josediccus on this questions, sometimes we find a post having good ingredients yet it receive less engagement and less upvotes which also talk a lot in steem, in terms of attracting more followers. There is a likely or possibility of of receiving less attention for a post that has been garnished for about three days before releasing to steemit blockchain because random voting. By the my regards to you @theycallmedan and with you a speedy recovery!

I see many people who still boost their post up to around $10 - $15 and don't get downvotes because the post is decent.

Tbh, I think it's just a risk using paid votes. I'm not taking the risk, and if engagement doesn't get better I'll have to consider my options.

I totally stopped anyways the ocd guys asked me to and that's why. I'm hoping I can get better recognition and engagement because I believe my posts are quite fair

Did you see that some group of people cleared molten core in less than 1 week after the classic WoW reboot recently? Crazy crazy crazy

With communities and smt's coming in the next hardfork it will be interesting to see if it's possible for larger groups to use this process for monetization of their work. It should be an interesting next few years as development has really ramped up over the past year compared to the first couple.

I wonder how STEEM will deal with setting up accounts for these users if a large site brings 1m people with them to the SMT's and all of their members will need a wallet if they wan't to participate.

In my opinion, the best possible way to create value on Steem is a business that needs the blockchain to operate because the blockchain has properties such as immutability, transparency and fast & free transactions that are critical to the products of that business and that generates a fiat cashflow without relying on the reward pool. Do you agree with this? If so, what type of businesses apart from the likes of Splinterlands that has already proven itself would be the most likely ones to want to make use of Steem and give Steem Power value by creating demand for Resource Credits?
