First ICO on NEO (the chinese Ethreum) to launch on Sept 15th
Neo as many now know is the Chinese blockchain that is similar to ethereum with smart contracts and the ability to launch ICO token sales. It claims a number of other advantages too like being codable in standard languages like Java and being quantum resistant.
Here are the details of the first ICO, Red Pulse, to be launched exclusively on NEO. For those that don't know, an ICO is an initial coin offering (a bit like a seed funding campaign for a new company. The entity raises finance by launching crypto coins which people can invest in. The way ICOs work with ethereum, you send a few ether from a private wallet created on something like myetherwallet (not from an exchange) to an address designated by the ICO. A smart contract ensures the coins are sent back to your address. There are instructions for how to tell the address to accept this other, new coin. When you go into your wallet via my ether wallet, you will see all the ether coins as well as the other coin.

Thanks. When last we posted, I mentioned the difficulties with the NEO Wallet for iOS. I've since been using NEON, which is available from the NEO website.
It's bloody brilliant! So simple to use and allows you to manually update your earned GAS, send GAS or NEO, and displays your current combined NEO/GAS value at current market pricing, although I'm unsure which market they obtain their prices.

There are lot of cryptos and some of them have bright future. My tips are Steem, Neo, Monero and Golem.

I really wish NEO was available on Jaxx or Exodus. I hold my coins on these two wallets because they can hold multiple different coins. I really don't want to have to open and manage many accounts. So inconvenient. But it is money....
Agree but meanwhile as someone pointed out above it is available on bittrex and i think i read cryptopia were launching it soon too.
