I was able to buy fast food at Jack in the Box drive through last night using nothing but my Steem backed Dollars which I see as good as cash when it appears in my steemit wallet! To be honest only when bitpay has problems do I get anxiety but worst case scenario is I may have to pay 10-20% at the local bitcoin atm at lestats just a few blocks away, but id much rather use the 5-8% btc atms which are more of a 10-15 min drive away .. or I could just ask someone around me with a coinbase account to let me use it but thats not something id do everyday. I could also sell some bitcoin for cash using localbitcoin.com or localbitcoincash.com or even offer a small trade on mycelium and hope there is someome nearbye who woupd want to buy $20 or so worth of Bitcoin basically at spot OR at a profit to really help get that BTC flipped into cash fast! If you really are in a hurry to either buy bitcoin to get crypto or sell bitcoin to get cash then just put up your own localbitcoin.com ad and make the price simply so low or even better negative rates so the people buying your bitcoin for cash end up making a percent or two over spot... that will entice any local trader but the idea of the Bitpay card is we dont HAVE to set up trades like that anymore... theres just always plenty of demand for bitcoin that we can always just load it up on a prepaid card if we need cash.... and therefor this Bitpay card has made my life so much easier. Without it id be having to save up $100 in btc at a time and then cash it out in bulk larger amounts at terrible rates most often, compared to the speed and no fees on my Bitpay card... in fact i am even tempted to use my own ability to get cash with my Bitpay card to help others get cash for a fee but id rather not, just easier to have people use their own cards... Anyway Bitpay only ever had a few errors once or twice and they were temporary outtages for just a few hours. Same with blocktrades & if @blocktrades is down I can always use binance or Bittrex (bittrex cant handle new BCH addresses)

Hey, @ackza Really great work my dear friend and I am glad to seen your daily post .many many thanks for sharing with us your important post.

Great working.
I appreciate your update crypto news.
All the Best .

Banks also need to adopt Cryptocurrency as a substitute to the Fiat currency.

Yes and th3eyll get to use Ripple, which is always 3 steos ahead of everyone else because everyone hates them L:D

Check out this Confrence Ripple seems to be associated with, which also apparently has the Depertment of Health and Human resources attending, maybe they'll need a blockchain to help sort through federal data on disease etc? Also an Ethereum/EOS project called Scatter AND the tech Giant ORACLE are all attending, It all looks very interesting: https://tulipconf.com/

It all looks a little suspicious to be honest, what are Ripple, Oracle and the Federal Government HHS all doing at a Blockchain conference in San Francisco that is hopefully ironically called the 'Tulip Confrence" which seems like its some sort of Joke referencing the Tulip mania of 100 years ago when Tulip Bulbs experienced a financial bubble. But that was a century ago, and a Bitcoin is not a tulip Bulb and to make comparisons is just a showcase of one's ignorance concerning blockchain/cryptocurrency/bitcoin

Also I agree with those who state you cannot remove Bitcoin and Blockchain. Sure given enough time Steem and EOS could grow so large that they could decouple from Bitcoin obviously, but there is still something very special about Bitcoin that makes it this non governmental entity that is a safe haven for holding wealth no matter what, no matter if your a drug dealer or terrorist or just trying to get around taxes, and I'm including Monero Bitcoin private and other privacy coins in this umbrella statement.

Just imagine crypto without BTC, it doienstw ork yet but maybe MAYBE if Steem and EOS get big enough and distribute themselves across the planet enough SURE, I mean look EOS has a bigger marketcap than Bitcoin did just two years ago! Steems marketcap is bigger than what Bitcoin had a few years ago lol Bitcoin was still the oinly decentralized curreny even when it was under half a billion marketcap! It was still useful and seen as "decentraliuzed" and now that crypto is in the hundreds of billions, we forget how small it was just a few years ago! And honestly its STILL useful for MOST people even at just 100 million marketcap! We can Still USE bitcoin and crypto even if its at a cheap price.... But of course over time the price WILL go up and that WILL be the best selling point :D its simple math, inflation, etc

of couyrse peoipel must eb INTERESTED in crypto and I swear STEEM will be that killer app for crypto

Just wait for steem APP to come outr and HF20 communities and instant registration, THEN and only then we will se EXPLSOIVE growth in steem, who WON'T want to get PAID to post?

I can see a period where ned will even inject stimulus into steem and REALLygive out SP delegation for a month or two and give a LOT more upvotes to a LOT more new users maybe just FLOOD the introduucemyself section with big upvoptes and REALLY stuimulate steem economy!

When Steem price goes up people check steem out its a fact from google trends, as price went to $8 we had more people then ever looking us up! And since BTC price is down bitcoin searcheson google have ALO dropped, its not our fault LOL its just general disionterest because the price has been low for so long! Its already summer and we still havent bounced back so yeah hahahaha its making people nervous but the bogdanoffs are trying to make sure ONLY the strong hands remain

remember, the Bogdanoffs are trying to CRASH this market with no survivors so they can BUY UP the ENTRIE market PENNIES on the dollar like the Rothschilds after the battle of waterloo when they tricked the British economy into thinking napoleon won, crashed the markets in UK, bought it all up, and then when REAL news came that england had won, the rothschjilds got sooooooo rich and the SAME will happen with Bitcoin

news and FUD comes out about Bitcoin being restricted regulated and even made illegal and then when Bitcoin price is as low as like $3000 maybe even $1000 or $900 the Bogda-whales will buy up the ENTIRE market and Bitcoin will skyrocket back up to $20K and everyone who sold will feel terrible, it will be incredible!

By using bitpay debit card to convert crypto into fiat currencies is the best thing that has truly happen to users and investors of crypto currencies , because their fee is the lowest and using blocktrades for the conversion makes it better @ackza

You are amazing @ackza helping people to cash out their cryptos and always writing up about your own cashouts and that's really encouraging to stay at steemit

If anyone is in San Diego, CA ackza does help them cash out crypto to buy stuff if they really need help. Also he teaches people to use their own crypto to buy things without any debit card or id, using the GYFT app for Android or iOS which lets you buy Gift cards for many popular stores that you can walk into in real life in many large cities, and since @blocktrades lets you get bitcoin for your sbd or steem, you can very easily use the GYFT app to buy things from food to clothes to electronics or even amazon gift cards all using that GYFt app which lets you buy this with Bitcoin which you can gte via Blocktrades in your steemit.com built in wallet exchange service.... Its pretty nice that anyone in the USA and any country that has stores that have gift cards listed on GYFT can use that app to buy things in real life without waiting!

If youre in a country that lacks the gyft app functionality maybe its time that @yensesa team and @steemgh @mcsamm @tj4real work on a gift card app like a clone of the gyft app or just an extra feature on yensesa, just a simple marketplace for giuft cards which you can buy with steem/sbd or ghanian cedis and which you can use either mobile money or steem to buy

in fact if there already exists a Ghanian or Nigerian Mobile money enabled gift card website or app we can just use yensesa as the way people can exchange their steem/sbd to ghanian cedis and then use that to buy the gift cards for ghanian or nigerian businesses!

This idea of replicating the Gyft app seems like a real winner for developing countries. I believe this Gyft app could be replicated in many developing nations around the world, and as long as you can allow these gift card companies to accept bitcoin (or better yet, steem) then youll be able tyo go out and link these systems up. Or better yet make a system from scratch and invite local companies to set up a gift card system and find a way to exchange bitcoin to your local fiat currency for cheap, by becoming your own exchange like @yensesa where you can have people buying and selling crypto and fiat so youll have a supply of both, and just create a list of companies who set up deal with you to sell gift cards for their stories and allow customers to use bitcoin or just steem/sbd to buy the gift cards so that when for example, Ghanian citizens earn money on steemit they can immediately use their steem/sbd to buy a gift card for a local store or an online ghanian store which have in country delivery, and they should be able to even use their crypto to pay for shipping, OR we find big chains that people can walk into in real life, and allow for a simple app or website where store owners can use a smartphone or tablet to scan the customers phone with a special one time qr code, with the gift card, and like the GYFT app they can then buy items in the store with their gift card credits which were paid for using crypto

this could be a huge money maker for people in developing countries wishing to look for a new business model and the Gyft App when combined with @yensesa by @black-man seems golden! In fact yensesa should definitely create a gyft card like business to make it even easier for steemians or yensesa users to use their ghanian cedis or even their bitcoin or steem/sbd to buy gift cards for Ghanian stores, both real life store fronts and online retailers.

@tytran this is an amazing suggestion. We will look into this.

Thanks
