What's New in the Crpto World - Ripple(XRP), Cardano(ADA), & IOTA Climb

The cryptocurrency market is rebounding today after being predominantly in the red yesterday. The market is situated above $330 billion currently, and Ripple(XRP), Cardano(ADA), and IOTA(MIOTA) are in the positive and still climbing hopefully. Bitcoin is selling over the $8,100 mark and Ethereum is just above $510. The massive news within the crypto space is that Verge (XVG) just disclosed their major partnership with PornHub.

Ripple (XRP)

Some days ago, Ripple made an announcement launching an application with Spain’s largest bank, Banco Santander. The new app called OnePay FX uses Ripple’s elemental blockchain technology to process transfers between the United States and Europe. Currently, the app isn’t transferring XRP but is processing fiat.
A statement made by the executive chairman of Banco Santander Ana Botin about the agreement saying:

One Pay FX uses blockchain-based technology to provide a fast, simple and secure way to transfer money internationally—offering value, transparency, and the trust and service customers expect from a bank like Santander. Transfers to Europe can be made on the same day and we are aiming to deliver instant transfers across several markets by the summer.

Ripple’s technology is devised to be endorsed and taken up by big financial institutions and there is the hope that major banks around the world will eventually adopt XRP as the currency for transfer. Ripple’s technology is also used in pilot projects around the world including Standard Chartered in the UK.

Currently, XRP is trading at $0.657 a coin, down -0.39%.

Cardano (ADA)

Cardano’s founder announced ADA’s listing on Huobi two days ago, and its price took a big spike. Although there are no new updates on the progress of Cardano, one can always check their roadmap to stay updated on the developer’s progress.

It seeming like the Cardano stealing Dan Larimer’s DPoS have begun resurface again. Not certain when this will finally die down, but Charles Hoskinson is clearly not having any of it, the feud continues.

ADA is currently trading for $0.243 a coin, down -3.15%

IOTA (MIOTA)

The newest important news coming from the IOTA foundation is that they’ve just released a new website, and they just added a new member to their team, Eric Hop.
