Coinhive ending their work in 1 week
Many of you guys know coinhive its a service for web mining, for example you go to some site and there is script for mining and you mine some coins to owner of this script( it can be owner of website or hacker)
Of course because of hackers this activity gained some fame, many websites were infested and many users who visit these website didnt know why they computer is so lagy and why its heating.
But after red market and decrease in the price of monero -85% and decreasing hashrates -50% its not so profitable any more , thats why administrators of coinhive said they will close mining service in 8 of March, but people who got there coins still can withdraw their money until 30 of April.
Overall i think this kind of activity was more harmful because it could be used without warning a user , but in another thought this activity is a new monetization for the site owners, for example if i watch movie i dont mind if they use my processor a little like 10-20% so i can watch netflix for free or youtube without any advertising, i just hope blockchain will give new variance of monetization without any ads.( i hate them)
