Binance ohhh Binance please fix your STEEM wallet
A quick post informing everyone that Binance one of the largest crypto exchanges in the world , is currently unable to accept STEEM. This happened just after HF20 where not only Binance however most of the crypto exchanges STEEM wallet is currently not working.
So who's working ?
So far I do know that BITTREX is currently up and running. They seem to be able to update their wallets pretty fast. Very reliable exchange and hope other exchanges follow suite
We can always count our STEEM with @blocktrades to be able to keep up to date with everything happening on STEEM and is able to get their services up and running just shortly after the HardFork.
With Blocktrades up and running, that would enable you to still send your STEEM / SBD out however it requires you to send as STEEM but receiving end would be BTC or ETH. This would meant that you would be facing some currency conversion lost.
Ideally if you do have STEEM / SBD to sell , just give a shoutout in the discord channels you are in and perhaps strike a P2P deal there. ( Nor recommended however its an option )

They just play safe, besides, steemit wallet is a buggy mess
Its actually surprising that binance has closed wallet
bittrex running well so far
This happened with the freeze before the HF already. Most exchanges with wallets staid offline after that until around 5 days after the HF.
IIRC Huobi is back too.

unfortunately right now steem as a blockchain just doesn't have enough attention
It's a bigger problem than most realise. The inability to arbitrage creates a price disparity that throws out the coinmarketcap.com price quote. That in turn can affect the price feed from some of our less diligent witnesses. That in turn affects those who are seeking to use the SBD to STEEM conversion function (like myself).
