RE: Who is bitcoin for?

Well done @algons - hard facts that everyone truly concerned about the wellbeing of humankind at large should be acutely aware of.

I will be eternally grateful for the road that Bitcoin paved right up to where we are on this platform today and for providing the initiative for more functionally effective coins to be invented and manifested in a market that would not have existed without Satoshi Nakamoto having opened this frontier.

It provided a laboratory for visionary cryptographers like Dan Larimer in which to improvise the technology to be more efficient and to create not only the tools for inventing more suitable coins and even a DEX to implement them with, but also Steemit as a means for us to promote the said.

Thank you very much for publishing this topical insight!

You're right. Compliments where they are due. Bitcoin opened a great frontier and we should be thankful for that; but we shouldn't get stuck with it when it is becoming problematic for the society.

I resemble Bitcoin to Netscape in 1990s. Netscape made the internet popular for everyone but it was by no means the best use case for the internet. Bitcoin is making the blockchain popular; but it's a technologically and philosophically an inferior use case for blockchain.

Thanks for your comment. As always, appreciated!
