CryptoVerse - Definite Holds for 2018!!
What are my definite holds moving into 2018?!?
Before we get into that, let’s first take a look at 2017 and really get into why holding the correct coins can be crucial for your portfolio.
When we look back to the beginning of 2017 at some of the coins that were just starting to gain traction, we can see some serious growth and potential for a healthy and strong portfolio. Bitcoin started the year off under $1000, now moving into 2018 we see prices that linger between $15,000 and $20,000. A smaller priced coin that blew the doors off Bitcoin in growth this year was LiteCoin(LTC). We see a 4000% growth in LTC this year with a jump from around $4.00 to an astounding $300.00.
So, what will I be holding moving in to the 2018 year? Let’s take a look...
It is only fitting that we start the list with my all-time favorite coin, LTC. We see a lot of great things happening with LTC and the creator is very active in the community. With the numbers that you see above, it is a no brainer to buy and hold. My prediction is, we will see it break $1000 in 2018.
Let’s move to the next long term hold, Ethereum (ETH). We have seem massive moves with this coin in 2017 and only more to come in the future. At the beginning of the year we saw prices around $4 to $20, we are now sitting between $650 and $700. ETH has forked into many different coins that have big plans for the future with the blockchain. We have seen games being created on the ethereum blockchain such as, Crypto Kitties, which has been a huge success. We still see areas where the ethereum blockchain needs improvement, but I know they will squash these bugs and move forward.
The next coin I will be talking about has been mentioned in some of my earlier posts, Ripple or XRP. Ripple is one of those coins that has decided to work with the companies that have already been established, like Amex. We have seen ripple do amazing things throughout the year and just within the past month we have seen a price jump from $0.19 to $0.80. This company will easily explode in 2018 and I will most certainly be riding the wave.
Speaking of riding the wave, Stellar or XLM has partnered with IBM and plans for some great moves in the coming months. Just in December alone we have seen over 5 events that are going on with XLM and with multiple more documented in the following months. I think XLM and XRP will be good holds for moving into 2018 and they are so cheap right now.
Onto a coin that has shown serious ups and downs in the past, DOGE. Now before you judge, let’s take a look at the coin. Seriously cheap and has been rising lately to nearly 40 Satoshi. Extremely low fees to move and so readily available right now online for free. I believe stocking up on this coin will be a good move for moving into, not only 2018, but the future of cryptocurreny. DOGE TO THE MOON!!

Last but not least, SiaCoin (SC). This company is a data storage company that has some amazing ideas for the future of data storage. They not only have amazing ideas for revolutionizing the future of data storage, but is also going up against some big names including, Microsoft, Dropbox, Apple and Google. I have just recently started to play around with their different products, which have their quirks but have massive potential.
