Only 7 days left until Stellar distribute the "negligible" amount of 16 billion (in numbers 16.000.000.000) free XLM coins to Bitcoin holders. This would be a great campaign if the big XLM base itself - all previous loyal XLM holders who paid (probably hard-earned) money for it - would get this reward. Instead of that they'll get nothing but most likely the XLM dump-of-the-century, while BTC holders make a haul and jig due to their free present.

Shortly after I'd noticed this curious giveaway, I sold all my XLM at its last peak ~June 8th. Something is going wrong at Stellar staff if they think I invest my real money into XLM while BTC holders get tons of it for free. Ok, I don't think that all 16 billion coins of this giveaway will be droped at markets simultaneously. Furthermore I would say, all early XLM investors who get in at a maybe three-digit SAT/XLM rate can stay relaxed.

But nevertheless: quite a few of this free coins will be sold immediately. ~0.93 billion coins circulating right now - even if only 1/4 kick away their free XLM, we have almost 5 billion coins. I guess I needn´t add any further chart-development thoughts.

Although this giveaway was announced a while ago, I can imagine that many late investors who bought XLM at higher rates, still don't know anything about this little "surprise" at June 27th. This note is intended for them. If you'll keep your XLM, you should watch XLM rates very closely within the next ~two weeks.
