BMO Banning Crypto?! | 2nd of April 2018 (DCN #27)
Today is the 2nd of April, and again, a lot of exciting news and events are taking place in the cryptocurrency-world! And as always, I'm going to be covering the most important stuff that's going on.

1- Canadian Bank Blocking Crypto Transactions
The Bank of Montreal (BMO)'s employee has recently announced that the bank will be blocking all cryptocurrency-related transactions.
The employee posted on Reddit an internal BMO memo that has been mailed to him, and company-wide to all other employees of the BMO.
The memo announced that the ban was effective immediately and that BMO would block all cryptocurrency merchant transactions. Apparently, any client attempting a cryptocurrency-related transaction would simply receive a message that the transaction cannot be completed.

2- AirAsia Is Developing A Cryptocurrency
I already talked about this in my Daily Crypto News-Article on March 17th, but I thought to give you a little update on the news.
So, the popular budget airline Air Asia has confirmed their plans for the launch of a proprietary cryptocurrency called BigCoin.
AirAsia's CEO Tony Fernandes has laid out a plan for the $3 billion company to develop a proprietary cryptocurrency that could replace its current “Big Loyalty” rewards program and serve as a native currency on the firm’s nascent financial services platform.

3- Trezor To Implement Bitcoin Cash
The popular hardware wallet Trezor has confirmed that the integration of Bitcoin Cash is on the way!
This happened after Twitter Bitcoin cash advocate, Jason Elliott, began tweeting to hardware, cold storage wallet makers as to when their users could expect integration of Cashaddr (the Bitcoin Cash ecosystem adopted a standard for addresses to help limit confusion). In the thread Trezor responded that the Cashaddr support is being developed.

4- To Russia With Bitcoin!
The biggest sporting event in the world, the REAL football a.k.a "soccer" World Cup 2018, is held in Russia this year! I'm so f*cking hyped already!
But anyway, what's cool is that Kaliningrad, one of the cities hosting the matches, is now offering cryptocurrency payments for hotel rooms. You can buy your hotel with CRYPTO!
