1- Crypto Is A Top Priority For China

China's central bank has just announced that cryptocurrencies will be one of its top priorities this year! But not necessarily in a good way... Way to go China!...

According to the vice governor of the People's Bank of China (PBoC), Fan Yifei, the biggest priority for 2018 is ensuring the integrity of Chinese yuan. Fan Yifei has also praised the progress on their digital currency research and development.

No official statements were made about how are they going to do this, but most likely, this will mean more regulations for cryptocurrencies.

2- Mailchimp Shuts Down Crypto Related Accounts

First, it was Facebook, then Google, then Twitter, and now, even Mailchimp has taken actions to start banning crypto related ads/accounts.

The "marketing automation platform" we all love (at least I do..), Mailchimp, is reportedly shutting down all accounts related to cryptocurrencies, including initial coin offerings (ICOs), exchanges, news, books, events, and announcements.

3- IT Giant Fujitsu Launches Blockchain Center

If you've been keeping up with the news lately, you know that many major companies are wanting to dip their toe in the cryptocurrency/blockchain world.

Now, the IT giant of Japan, Fujitsu, has announced the opening of its first Blockchain Innovation Center in Brussels, Belgium. The aim of the "Innovation Center" is to support research, development, and innovation in this new industry.

4- Five Crypto Exchanges Shutting Down

I reported yesterday that two Japanese crypto exchanges, Mr.Exchange and Tokio GateWay, are shutting down after the $500 million theft.

Now, three more "unregistered" exchanges have followed, Raimu, Bitexpress, and Bit Station. All of the five exchanges are now going to leave the exchange business after returning clients’ cash and cryptocurrency holdings.

Tron is also launching their first Beta version of the Exodus-wallet. Even this is something that should be hyped up more than the testnet... smh...

The first public release of Emerald Desktop Wallet is supposed to be happening on March 31st.

A LOT of exciting news today! There were so many huge news stories that it was hard for me to only pick four! Which new story was the most important in your opinion? Mine was definitely Fujitsu launching a "Blockchain Innovation Center". It's always nice to see these big companies taking action to learn/think about blockchain technology.

By the way, what do you think about the fact that McAfee is going to eat his own dick soon (explanation)? lol...

Markets are still mostly red, BTC is under $7,000... If I could give one advice it would be this; Either buy more or just HODL... It might feel bad right now but you'll thank yourself for it in few years! Definitely, check this tweet from my boy ILoveCrypto!
