1- Eurasian Association Of Blockchain To Sue Social Media Giants

As most of you already know, 2018 has been the year of cryptocurrency related ads getting banned from major advertising platforms. First, it was Facebook, then Google, and now even Twitter...

Now, some big cryptocurrency and blockchain associations in Russia, China, and South Korea are planning to file a joint lawsuit in May against Google, Twitter, Facebook, and Yandex for not allowing the crypto-related advertising.

“We believe that this is a use of the monopoly position of these four companies, which have entered into a cartel agreement with each other in order to manipulate the market."

"We believe that if it turns out that the shareholders or managers of these companies own crypto wallets which they use for personal gain"

2- Bitcoin Bull Raising $500 Million Cryptoasset Hedge Fund

Mark Yusko, one of the biggest cryptocurrency bulls has now stated that he's doubling down on his conviction that the future is bright for crypto assets.

The founder and chief investment officer at Morgan Creek Capital announced that the Chapel Hill, a North Carolina-based firm is seeking to raise up to $500 million to start a new hedge fund focused exclusively on crypto assets and other blockchain-related investments.

3- Danske Bank Rules Out Crypto Trading

The biggest bank in Denmark (Danske Bank) has criticized cryptocurrencies over perceived risks and lack of transparency.

We strongly recommend that our customers avoid investing in cryptocurrencies.

The three reasons for why they won't make trading cryptos possible on their trading platforms were: Lack of protections for investors (no bank backing them), high volatility/lack of "pricing transparency", and finally, a lack of regulatory oversight apparently means cryptocurrencies are a target for criminals.

4- Bithumb To Bring Crypto Payments To 8K South Korean Merchants

One of the biggest South-Korean crypto exchanges, Bithumb will be allowing its users to pay with cryptocurrency in 8,000 brick and mortar outlets by the end of 2018.

Bithumb will partner with a major digital payment services provider, Korea Pay, to facilitate purchases for its users. Korea Pay handles payments for more than 200 franchise-based offline merchants, generating brokerage services of 300 billion won ($279 million) annually.
