BitConnect is down...

BitConnect is down!!!

From last night until this morning the BitConnect.co website was completely down.

Mid day today (Friday) the website came back up and the "maintenance" turned out to be a slightly more critical event - I am paraphrasing here - " The website has experienced a glitch, and some users were able to withdraw more currencies than they deposited. BitConnect is expected to be down until at least 3pm August 27 EST." The website also said something about users having to deposit back what their negative balance indicates.

$BCC token was down over 37% at one point today. Big drop from approx. $153 to $84....Outch!!

As I've said in my previous posts, this was a pretty sketchy operation to begin with. We will see what the result of this event will be but I'm assuming...nothing good. This could be potentially a serious hack and I doubt that users will voluntarily return what they too, back to BitConnect.
