Malta Government Bring Crypto To Licensed Casinos
The Malta Gaming Authority (MGA) has recently launched the second phase of its SandBox Framework initiative which aims to explore how digital assets can be leveraged by licensed online casinos.
This follows the initial phase which holders of MGA licenses were given the opportunity to experiment with blockchain-based digital assets in a controlled environment.
This is a breakthrough to blockchain-based online gaming as there is no crypto casino currently has been given a license by any major iGaming regulator.
It is no surprise to anyone to see the Malta Gaming Authority leading the field when it comes to crypto asset and blockchain technology integration with online casino offering due to its very progressive stance towards distributed ledger technology.
