Does it really matter which Crypto Coin you invest in?

in #cryptocurrency6 years ago

HI so this is probably as speculative as you can get. But does it really matter which coin you invest in. If we study the charts on coinmarketcap.com which we can look at at a glance we can see that a very large portion of all crypto currency follow follow the exact pattern of Bitcoin. Maybe not in the same day but over time the charts start to look, well, identical all most. Today's glance on Coin Market Cap show Bitcoin, Ethereum, and Ripple leading the race. And Many other coins in their place according the the market cap. What's interesting is all of the crypto coins in top half follow Bitcoin the charts are Identical. Then as we gander the mid to bottom half of the chart we see different patterns arising. Diversity is always key, but given an indication that bitcoin may rise again, however slowly after all the latest news, would it really matter if you invest in Bitcoin, Ethereum, Ripple, Bitcoin Cash? etc They have proven they are following the same pattern.

Feel free to leave comments and insights, thoughts or even strategies you may have on this.

Yeah all coins are valued in satoshi, so when btc goes down so does many alts unless they gain dominance. Off course we look for the dominants of a future market when we buy coins to hold. When it comes to day traiding i feel the same sometimes, just follow the sat value trends or market trends rather, and buy w/e :)
