He said, "I'll disclose to you another story that is underreported, yet worth focusing on. Bitcoin is extremely controlled by China. There are four mineworkers in China that control more than half of Bitcoin. How would we realize that China won't mediate? What number of nations need to utilize a Chinese-controlled money? It's simply not going to happen."

Amid the gathering, Garlinghouse likewise made it obvious that he doesn't accept blockchain innovation will supplant banks as we probably am aware them, saying that "blockchain won't upset banks, [although] it will assume an essential part in the way our framework works. It's a silly view."

Ripple loves banks
Perhaps not surprising, Garlinghouse holds a much more favorable view of the cryptocurrency issued by his own company, he said that that while XRP needs only 4 seconds to settle a transaction, “bitcoin today takes 45 minutes.”(yes its true)

Ripple XRP is not a complete solution

One key worry that numerous in the cryptographic money network share is that Ripple XRP is not really a decentralized cash. Truth be told, over half of the aggregate supply of XRP is controlled by the organization itself, which certainly enables them to control costs in the market.

Another real issue with Ripple's XRP token is the way that most banks and other money related foundations who work with Ripple have indicated little enthusiasm for utilizing the token. Things being what they are, the primary administrations offered by the organization don't require the utilization of the XRP token, which has influenced numerous individuals to scrutinize the organization's thought process in issuing XRP in any case. Would it be able to be that Ripple's XRP cash was issued for the most part to fund-raise for the organization, instead of offering any genuine utility incentive for clients of Ripple's administrations?

What is your own thinking about the ceo of ripple is he did right?

Sort:

he can attack bitcoin all he wants but it wont matter since ripple is still under the bitcoin umbrella. if he wants to convince us he should show us a trend which is different than bitcoin. ripple drops with btc, ripple goes up with btc like all other tokens, thats the issue they need to solve before they go after bitcoin.
