BAT is on a tear today - Decentralized Advertising

There is an excellent video by Brendan Eich, creator of the Brave browser.
I tried it out on my cell phone and it blocks most ads and saves lots of data.
The broader concept of BAT is very intriguing. Essentially, the Brave browser will block all unwanted ads, but target specific ads to you based on your browser history. You might even get paid for clicking on ads. Of course the ad agency gets paid, and sellers get a targeted audience. Sounds great and like a win, win, win situation.
So, payments will be issued via the BAT token.
Am a little concerned about having my Browser and the block chain know the specific details of my search. However, they claim that our privacy will be strictly maintained, and protected.
BAT rallied big today, so clearly there is substantial interest.
So far, looks like they just have the Brave browser. Will be very interested to know when users and advertisers will start to get paid. Might drive another rally for BAT.
So, definitely check BAT out!
I truly wish Steemit would incorporate some advertising on the Steemit website, with the proceeds going towards paying our hard working content curators, and curators. Might also be deflationary, if the inflation targets are reduced to to adverting income. Am too new to Steemit to know how to effectively propose that we permit discrete advertising on Steemit. But if anyone knows how to submit this as a formal suggestion, I think the benefits to the Steem community and to Steem price would be amazing.
Love to hear your thoughts on BAT and advertising on Steemit.
