This post's purpose is to emphasize that the country of the currencies HQ just matters. Depending on the policy of the country, the coins could prosper or not.
Some currencies don't have official HQ, which make them more international and resilient.
Ideally, we also have to take into account the location of miners, exchanges and holders but let's keep it simple as a first step.
I would recommend to diversify your portfolio into several crypto-friendly countries.
