Bitcoin wallet Electrum will inform users about the availability of updates
The release of a new version of the popular bitcoin wallet Electrum (v3.3.3).
The main innovation of the product was the notification of users about new versions of Electrum. If desired, this option can be disabled. Also, the developers have fixed minor bugs. In December, the attackers managed to steal more than 200 BTC from Electrum users thanks to a phishing attack through malicious servers. Soon the developers released a new version of the wallet, which excludes such actions. However, after a while there was another problem — the network has a lot of fraudulent clones Electrum.
