1- Cryptocurrency miners in Washington State have electricity suppliers feeling a little jolted. After recently placing a moratorium on mining activities in the state due to heavy loads, several public utility companies have been forced to increase their security out of fears of attacks. One entity, the Chelan County Public Utility District (CCPUD), reported that its employees on the phones and in the field have been physically threatened by the unhappy miners.
2 - Kenya Plans to Legitimize Land Ownership with Blockchain.
Sometimes referred to as the ‘Silicon Savannah’ Kenya is considered to be a technological giant on the continent of Africa. Still, something that should be as straightforward as processing a land ownership title can be fraught with problems due to corruption throughout the bureaucracy.

5 - Nucleus Vision, a blockchain-based startup recently announced their collaboration with Assam Government to deploy government Decentralized Applications (DApps).
In a bid to make government data more transparent, the Assam government will deploy the company’s Blockchain Protocol to deploy DApps for internal government functions as well as citizen-facing applications.
