You usually hear people brag how cryptocurrency network is so fast compared to old mainstream payment methods we use like Visa or internet based wallets like Skrill. I did some research and guess what i found, Visa is still the best and fastest way to send money and capable of handling high transactions per minute, with 24,000 transactions per second.

With the data we have, Cryptocurrency with the fastest transaction is Ripple down after Visa with only 1500 transactions per second followed by Bitcoincash (BCH) at 60 transactions per second. here is the full list below
