How it works?
According to their website they are attempting to be a platform for all artificial intelligence.The coin will be traded via smart contract based on NEO. The mining node is incentivized through a system designed through smart contracts. DeepBrain Chain is a decentralized neural network. Countless mining nodes across the world will supply computational power for AI use to meet world-wide enterprise demand. Mining nodes receive DBC as compensation. The GAS fee each enterprise need to pay is far less than the intrinsic fee. The DeepBrain Chain is also a secure data trading platform that allows both parties to not worry about data leakage or reselling. Blockchain technology is used to realize the explicit separation of data ownership and data usage rights. Thus, the value of data will be promoted greatly.
Why on the blockchain?
Deepbrain believes that the blockchain can solve the 3 major problems with artificial intelligence. The first is to provide the large amount of computing power which is required to train and make AI. The next issue is data. Quality data is needed because the more data the AI has the more it can respond or solve problems. The final problem is algorithms, which are the base of how artificial intelligences works.
DBC Token
Deepbrain Chain is a mined token. There will be total of 5 billion being mined and increasing in difficulty every 5 years. In the first 5 years of mining, 500 million DBC are produced each year, and the income is reduced every 5 years by half. The total supply of the token is 10 billion. 0.9 billion DBC were distributed in their ico offering. 25% of the tokens will be going to the DeepBrain Chain foundation and ecosystem. 10% of the tokens will go to the team. They will unlock 10% in the first month after launching in the market, and unlock the remaining 10% each year, total lock-peroid of 10 years. 50% will mined and finally 6% will be offered in their presale.

Overall Review:
I attempted to give a simplified overview of Deepbrain Chain. I highly suggest you read through their whitepaper. This project has a lot of potential going into 2018, due to a couple of factors. Deepbrain Chain is a first mover, which means they are the first AI company to move to the blockchain. They also are relatively under the radar with only a 262 million dollar market cap. The final reason I believe that Deepbrain Chain will be revolutionary is that AI is still a very new with new funding being introduced to the field everyday. I see Deepbrain Chain growing at a minimum of 10x in 2018 as they work through their 2018 roadmap.
