[ENG/KR] Boxing Champ Floyd Mayweather Jumps Into the Cryptocurrency Market / 복싱 챔피언 플로이드 메이웨더가 가상화폐에 눈을 뜨다

On July 27th (28th in some regions), Floyd Mayweather uploaded a post on Instagram promoting Stox ($STX), a Bancor based prediction market platform. The Initial Coin Offering (ICO) starts on August 2, and will be available to investors for two weeks. Its Base Exchange Rate is 200STX for 1ETH, and is harcapped at $30M.

Mayweather mentioned in his post that he will "make a $hit t$n of money" from investing in Stox. As you know, there are already 2 tokens being actively traded and are related to the prediction market: Augur ($REP) and Gnosis ($GNO). Personally, in the long term, I don't a brighter future ahead of it yet compared to Augur.

7월 28일 새벽 3시 경 (한국 시간 기준), 복싱 선수 플로이드 메이웨더가 인스타그램에 위와 같은 포스트를 올렸습니다. 포스트는 Stox ($STX)라는 Bancor 기반 토큰을 홍보하는 내용이었는데요, 이 토큰은 예측 시장을 타겟으로 삼고 있습니다. ICO는 8월 2일에 시작하며, 최장 2주 간 투자자들에게 제공됩니다. 가격은 1ETH에 200STX로 책정되어 있으며, 3천만 달러 모금에 성공하면 조기 종료됩니다.

메이웨더는 스톡스에 투자함으로서 "존X게 많은 돈을 벌 것이다"라고 밝혔습니다. 여러분들도 알다시피 예측 시장을 노리고 탄생한 토큰들은 이미 있습니다. 바로 Augur ($REP)와 Gnosis ($GNO)로, 현재 활발히 개발이 진행되며 거래되고 있는 코인입니다. 단기적으로야 괜찮을 수 있겠지만 과연 장기적인 비전이 있을까는 좀 더 연구해보아야 할 듯합니다.
