SmartCash - How smart is it?

Well some of you might ask: “What is SmartCash?”.

As it states on their website SmartCash meant to be “a project born out of the desire to create a viable, fungible, fast, merchant oriented, user friendly and community driven cryptocurrency with a decentralized governance system.”

Now out of all of them, is SmartCash really as good as they claim ? Well...

It’s true out of all of the cryptocurrency’s out there SmartCash is probably most in favour of offering a so called SmartRewards which in essence gives you more coins each month just by holding them untouched into your wallet. With this coin hitting all highs last week at just over $3 ($1.07 today)and a total market cap of over $1.1 billion ($600 mil today), with total disbelief many started dumping their coins in markets steering thing up a bit.

Problems with it’s users reporting coins missing from wallets, unable to withdraw or deposit on markets, wallets not syncing many started to have doubts and jumped on forums asking for answers (Including myself) didn’t help the situation, just made it worst.

SmartCash has only 21 pages on bitcointalk since it’s first announced their appearance which in terms of how big this community is, the support from all cryptocurrency maniacs is just not there, because SmartCash support team is not there, all just seem to have vanished. All tweets refers you to either an unknown stocktrading websites that no one has even heard off, instead of trying to implement their system to merchants. To top it all off, as of the time of this post it’s been 6 hours since their official pool servers are all DOWN making it all impossible to withdraw/transfer any coins you mined. I’m sure they will be back up but this just shows how instability of their platform if operated in large scale could have created chaos.

The year 2018 has not been a great start for SmartCash but let’s all hope they can get back on track and show us all that they are in the crypto world for the long term.
