Questioning the S.E.C.

Hi, Dear Steemian Friends

Today I would like to speak a little about the S.E.C. (Securities and Exchanges Commission). Most of us are into the crypto world because it is disruptive to the too long established financial institutions, the governments, the mainstream social media, and the big firms. Crypto is a way to bring some power back to the people and get a better way to address the questions that our world is facing today. For years now we have our own exchange and our own network. Governments and financial institutions have for long think that the crypto world will never be a challenge to their governance and rigged financial system. Today, they look at us as a potential threat to their corrupted system and they already know that they will have to deal with us and our beloved technology. So during the G20 (financial institutions), they start to talk about it and they even announce that they are all in for the regulation of Crypto market. I think they don't get the choice to say they like it because of the January bull run and the general interest in the cryptocurrencies. Since then we've seen Goldman Sach buying the crypto Exchange for 400 million $ and other big players starting to make their ways into crypto. We've also seen governments putting the regulation into the S.E.C. and seen a few hearings on the cryptos regulation. Since the beginning of the talks, nothing has been decided yet. For sure, this kind of things can take quite a long time for them to agree on something. But since the beginning, we've seen ETF rejected or postponed (mostly for good reason). But, when I look at the market reaction on ETF news, I find it obvious that if the S.E.C. wants to dry the market they will only reject or postponed on a series of future hearings and make investors bored of the market. So, here is my question "is the S.E.C. is very independent?". My experience with government and banks tells me to not trust all of this big institutions. Some may say I am a "conspiracy theorist" but the world is made of conspiracies like it or not it is a fact. To my eyes, the S.E.C. in every country is just another government institution and before even thinking of the protection of the investors, they will protect governments and bank interest at first. So, do we really need ETF?
